Why are the only now beginning to question faith in politics?

This just makes me sick. Why are so many Americans so ignorant and clueless? Why do so many willfully and intentionally set aside rational thought, learning, and THINKING in favor of blind and blinding faith? Because they are taught that it is valid; that one need not do the sometimes arduous work of reading, learning, thinking, questioning, assessing... one need merely to have faith.

Remember, the god of Abraham threw Satan out of heaven for asking a question. He threw Adam, Eve, and all their descendants out of Eden for eating from the tree of knowledge. The god of Abraham does not like knowledge.

The survey, and an accompanying report, showed that there's a fair amount of cluelessness in the ranks of the values crowd.
